This product is made out of Polystyrene that has a UV additive which provides UV protection for 5 years plus.  UV Ray and Fluorescent light protection is based on minimal, to light exposure for 5 years or more. It has been estimated that 8 hours of fluorescent light emitted UV bandlength radiation is equivalent to 1 minute of sunlight UV ray exposure.
 

Note: Be aware of Cheap Imitations. Make sure there is a UV Certification Report on any of the UV Baseball Holders you buy to be sure that it is in fact UV Protectant!  Our holder is stamped "UV" on the bottom to designate "UV Protection".
